Proactiv+ and X Out Review

I recently got my hands on some full size products this past weekend when I attended Generation Beauty in Los Angeles, CA.

One of the most exciting and anticipated exhibitors was the Proactiv+ and X Out booths. Compared to the others that were present, these guys knew how to run their game. You were able to get up to 3 products at their booth which was amazing!

First product I received was the Proactiv+ Makeup Cleansing Wipes. It contains about 45 Towelettes and they are super moist! I've tried a lot of makeup remover wipes and they always seem to be dry. You don't get that here and that impressed me!!
They are formulated with a botanical blend of antioxidants (which is always good for the skin) and a soothing moisturizing complex to help nourish, protect, AND condition the skin.
So far I have been using these daily to remove my makeup and it hasn't failed me. They are so moist and it gives you power to remove even the hardest makeup. Great product to pick up and as you can tell I went back to get another package of wipes!

Next product I played to win was Proactiv+ Skin Purifying Mask. Can I say this is miracle in a tube? I know it's a mask but 2 days ago I had the biggest pimple that just wouldn't go away. I figured I tried everything else, let's try this mask. I did a so-called spot treatment on the monster, went to bed, and amazing!!! It was dried up and almost completely gone the next day. It has multiple usages and I appreciate that. Love it.

Next, and last item I received was from, Proactiv's new line "X Out". I received their Shine Control Oil Free Formula moisturizer. My skin is combination, between oily in my t-zone areas and dry towards the outer part of my face. So far I've been using this bad boy for 2 days and haven't really seen much of a difference. However, I have noticed later throughout the day I'm not as oily as I normally am. So I will continue to use it and give you guys an update after a month or so.... Or when I run out of the tube haha.

Hopefully this helped any of you looking at Proactiv+ and/or X Out's products and given you more insight on their uses. I was extremely satisfied with the samples I got, thank you Proactiv!

Looks like a Buxom summer...

The other day after coming home from work and from picking my kids up from summer camp. I came home to a little black package. At first I thought, ok, maybe its a package that I ordered on eBay. I looked at the sender it was from Bare Escentuals! I was pretty much having an anxiety attack at that point.  I was overwhelmed, couldn't breathe, and was in my own little bubble at that point. After my 10 seconds (yes...10) of going crazy, I opened the package and I couldn't believe what I just received...

Generation Beauty Part 2: Products & Reviews

I finally got to post of the products I received during my time at Generation Beauty. It took me a while to add this post, due to wanting to really try out the products and give my best reviews for each. That and that I really need a new camera! My iPhone is just not living up to my expectations ha-ha. I did also take a picture of my eyelashes before and after for you all to see how the mascara products really showed. Also, the pictures are just for references, if you would like to see larger images please CLICK HERE

So by all means... read on!

MAC Pro Lip Palette: 6 Editorial Reds

Ladies! Very big recommendations if you are a big red lipstick person. I was browsing around MAC Cosmetics website the other day and fell across this beautiful palette. It's the MAC Pro Lip Palette in 6 Editorial Reds ($40). They also do come in other colors such as, Editorial Oranges, Modern Browns, Preferred Pinks, and Select Plums.

This set specifically is all red, all popular, all gorgeous lipstick colors in 6 different red shades. They are definitely a must for any makeup artist or for us regular Jane's.
